It went away completely
Trust me it was there in a minute
In a sec i saw it running away.
I don't think it is coming back.

It went with it's bag.
Maybe at dusk it would come
But it slowly approaches dawn in grand style.

Maybe it took clothes with it
Shoes perhaps..
A beautiful sombre summer hat.
It needs to tan
Might be back when the sun is down.

It went with a bus i guess
But it seems to be a jet
Because the speed was windy.
If it hitchhiked without a destination
Then the scare is real.

Here all by myself
Sad and alone
Eyes open peering into shadows of dark
My only little companion
Sleep, is on vacation.
